Penelope Lynne Harris, 41, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Asheville, died Sunday, November 7, 1999, in Raleigh, NC.

Miss Harris was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late William O. and Marion Barker Harris.  She was a certified nurses assistant and a member of the Fairview Christian Fellowship Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen (Katy) Harris;  two brothers, William O. Harris, III and John W. Harris, and a step-sister, Renee Lidberg.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Rusty Harper officiating.  Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 9 pm Thursday at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to Fairview Christian Fellowship, PO Box 456, Fairview, NC  28730.
