Ruby L. Dimsdale

Mrs. Dimsdale was born in
Buncombe County, was a daughter of the late Ervin and Stella Fletcher Birmingham, and was married to
Theodore J. Dimsdale, who died in 1989.  She was retired from Three Mountaineers.

She was a devoted  mother and grandmother and is survived by a son, David Dimsdale of Asheville;  four
grandchildren, Jason, Kristi, Stacey and Eric;  a great-grandson, Nicky;  a sister, Pearl McDonald of Asheville, and a brother, Ervin Birmingham, Jr. of Asheville.

Funeral services will be at
2:00 pm Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Lewis Bartlett officiating. Burial will be in the church  Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
