Jessie McKinney Chambers

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Rev.
James H. and Ollie Corn McKinney. She was the wife of the late Ellis Chambers and was preceded in death by a daughter Wilma Maney. She was a retired employee of Asheville Cleaners & Dryers and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo Daniel of Maryland Heights, MO; two grandsons Terry Daniel of St. Johns, MO, Tommy Maney of New York, NY; two great-granddaughters, Jessica and Krista Daniel of St. Johns, MO and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Danny Little officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View
Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
