Dear Family,
Years ago we lived down the street from each other. The memories I have are more recent however.
Taking my granddaughter by your dear mother’s house and Laney dancing to the Elvis doll and watching the joy it brought your mom is a special memory.
Taking her tomatoes I had picked and seeing her smile of appreciation is another.
She was such a warm person that she leaves a lasting impression.
I know how very much she loved her family and how all of you loved her. My prayers and thoughts will be with you as you go through this time in your lives. I know He will be there with you and give you an understanding and peace.
If there is anything I can do, please call and let me know.
Dear Judy and Family,
Please accept our love and sympathy in the home-going of your mother. We love you!
Few were as loved and respected as Granny. I’ll always remember her with a smile on my face.

You also taught me to make your delicious biscuits and gravy. I can taste them even now. I love you Granny and I will miss you, but this I know…. You are with Jesus in heaven dancing on the streets of gold. We love you Granny
Dear Roy,I am so glad I got to meet your mother a couple of years ago.I know how much you loved her and even though you were so far away you tried to stay close to her by calling her everyday and coming home as much as you could.

We just wanted to let you know how sorry we are for the loss of your precious mother. When she went home to be with the Lord yesterday, I know you truly lost your very best friend. Though we didn’t get to be around your mother very much, in the times we did, her laughter, her love for the Lord, her strength & courage and most especially her love of life and her family was an inspiration to us both. Know that our prayers are with you and will continue to be over the days ahead.
Love,
Debbie & Dan

Granny,
I still remember as a little kid how excited I used to get when I would find out you were coming to visit us in Seattle. The anticipation of getting to eat your homemade biscuits and gravy was nearly overwhelming. Although, our time together was limited by distance over the years, I have always held you in high regards and have the utmost respect for you. Thank you for being a loving and dedicated Granny. You will always be remembered and loved.
Love,
Steve, Angela, Kai, and Ethan

Sefus….Sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.
My heartfelt sympathy to all of Grannys’ family. She was your hero, and, you were hers, as well. I, not only admire Granny for her unconditional loving and caring, but all of you for taking such wonderful, loving care of her. I have never known anyone as loved and respected as Granny. She meant so much to so many!!!! Our world would be a better place if there were more like Granny. I will forever be grateful to her for always loving me as one of the family. My children, her grandchildren, spent little time with her, but they loved her from the 1st time they met her….she made such a positive impresssion on them. For that I am thankful. I will remember her with a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
Judy and Cecil, my prayers and thoughts are with you both during this time of sadness. Judy, god blessed you with a wonderful and loving mother, and he will comfort you now. GOD BLESS.
Ronnie, Toni and family, our hearts are with you during the loss of your Mother. Your Mother’s life was truly an inspiration. Her testimonial is one of caring and genuine love for her family. As a survivor of the great depression, like our parents, she knew the meaning of hard work and how to make ends meet for her family. No more hard work now! She is dancing with the angels in a beautiful mansion. We love you guys, and are praying for God’s strength and blessings today.
Granny,
While I haven’t had the chance to get to know you as an adult, all of the childhood memories are enough to last a lifetime. I remember coming to visit you and catching fireflies outside of your house, waking up to a buffet of homemade breakfast every morning, and gushing over Elvis with you. And I will never forget how you used to occasionally send boxes of Little Debbies to our house in Bothell. That was always so exciting.
You will be missed dearly, Granny. I love you,
Christy
Sefus,

To all of the children, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love my dear Aunt Belle so much and I am so glad I was able to see her on Sunday evening. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the service since I am still in the hospital due to my hip replacement day before yesterday. I will be praying for all the family. I will miss Aunt Belle but know she has gone to be with the Lord in a better place. Love, Ruby

What a wonderful and remarkable woman your mother was! She was wise in so many ways, and her influence will be evident for generations to come. I feel blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her.She was a lady in every sense of the word. More important, she was a child of God, and is now comfortably resting in His arms. May those same arms uphold and comfort each of you. My love and thoughts are with you.
Sefus and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sefus, I was privileged to have met your mom and to spend some time visiting with her back when I was still in high school. She was a good person and mother and was obviously loved by all her family. I’m sure she especially treasured your faithful visits back home during all the years you lived away from Asheville. My thoughts are with you and all the family. Bonnie Lamb Mayo

Judy, Cindy and Toni, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother and Grandmother. I did not know until Thursday night and had to work Friday or I would love to have come to the service. My prayer is for God to lift you up and to know she is rejoicing now with a new body in Christ our Lord. You all will be in our prayers–We love you very much.
