Aileen Finette Pierce, 75, of Mars Hill passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Pisgah Manor Health Care.
She was a native of Miami, FL, and was a daughter of the late Allen Kenneth and Edna Mae Ryals Pierce.
She is survived by her son, Jim Lord and wife Georgia of Candler; daughter, Debbie Mosley and husband Joe, of Inman, SC; brother, Kenny Pierce and wife Shirley of Fletcher; five grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home on Patton Ave.

Aileen was always wearing a smile. From the time I was small she accepted me and treated me as one of her very own granchildren, never making a difference. She was always sure to send birthday and Christmas cards with money as she could. She was always faithful in remembering to send that special card; we even recieved a Christmas card after she had gone into the nursing home. My last visit with her was a pleasant one, and she was always eager to know what was going on in our lives and always asked about her great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed. May God’s peace and comfort surround you during this difficult time.
