Sara Ellen Johnson

Mrs. Johnson was born in Denniston, Alabama, and was a daughter of the late Dr. J.R. and Sarah Ratchford Taylor.  She was married to the late Robert H. Johnson and was the mother of the late George T. Johnson.  She was the founder of City Hostess Service and was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two grandsons, Stewart T. Johnson of Asheville and Kimberly C. Johnson of Raleigh and five nieces.
