Floy Miller Taylor, 95, died
Monday, October 19, 1998.
A native of Buncombe County,
she was the daughter of the late
Lawrence M. and Lucy Todd Miller
and wife of the late S.O. Taylor, who
died in 1982.
She was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Weaverville and a
retired employee of the US Air
Weather Bureau.
She is survived by two daughters,
Dorothy Calvin Duncan of
Morganton, Mary Elizabeth McElrath
of Newport News, VA; a sister, Lucy
Kate Patton of Asheville; two
granddaughters; 6 great-
grandchildren and 4 great-great-
grandchildren.
Services will be 12 noon,
Thursday in the chapel of Groce
Funeral Home conducted by the
Rev. Bill Biggers. Entombment will
follow in the Forest Lawn
Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends for
one hour prior to the service.
