Virginia Hill Waters

A native of Buncombe County she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Lola duckett Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband Riley M. Waters who died in 1989. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she worked in the library.

She is survived by a daughter Carrie Elizabeth Allman of Candler: a son Riley Edward Waters of Gaffney, SC; a brother Dan Hill of Rowlett, TX; and five grandchildren, Adam and Laura Allman and Kevin, Aimee and Seth Waters.

Funeral services will be 2pm Wednesday in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend's Jerry Wilson and Dennis Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Cane Creek Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends 7-8:30 Tuesday at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of the daughter, 510 Justice Ridge Rd., Candler.
