Inez F. Mears
December 29, 1916 ~ November 26, 2009
Resided in:
Seffner, FL
Inez Mears, 92, died peacefully on Thanksgiving morning in Temple Terrace, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Trammel Mears and her daughter Bonnie.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Inez was born in Lakeland, Florida. After some years of marriage, she and Trammel made their permanent home in Fairview, NC. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She made her home this last year with Dianne (niece) and Chuck Silliman in Seffner, Florida.
Inez lived each day with a deep, abiding faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. She faced the prospect of death with the knowledge that she had lived a good life, fought a good fight, and had a "place prepared for her".
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 2nd, in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Royal officiating. Interment will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the serice.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to Love A Child P.O. Box 30744 Tampa, FL 33630. Inez gave faithfully to this charity to help feed hungry children in Haiti. Read more about this ministry at http://www.loveachild.com

We will miss Inez and her gentle presence at our family gatherings.
I will always remember how devoted she was to Susie and Uncle Trammel; a dear, sweet, beautiful lady.

So sorry, devoted to Bonnie and Uncle Trammel. I just returned home from a holiday trip to read this sad news. Sandy Harwood
she is home at last!!!!!
I remember always seeing Aunt Inez at the Mears family reunion. I remember how kind and sweet she was. I remember going to get puppies form her and Uncle Trammel when I was little. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Love,
Debbie and family (my mom was Pat Mears the baby of Uncle Bud)
My mother, Nora Waycaster, was extremely fond of Inez and considered her one of her best friends. Mother mentioned her many times before her own death in 2005.
I pray God will give you the peace that only He can.
With deepest sympathy,
Miki Waycaster Johnson
I’m so sorry for your loss, I believe I met my great aunt Inez as a small child. My grandfather was her brother, Robert Fields.
