Catherine Mary Mayer Critchell, 71, of Primrose Lane, Asheville, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at Memorial Campus, Mission Hospitals.
A native of Rochester, NY, Mrs. Critchell was a daughter of Ulrich and Mildred Brahler Mayer.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard A. Critchell; daughter, Beverly Nobles, of Houston, TX; son, Dwight Critchell, of Ontario, NY; sister, Louise Cleary, of Penfield, NY; and 3 grandchildren.
No services are planned. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting her family locally.

on Primrose Lane for several
years. Kay always had a smile
on her face and was a caring person.
She loved animals and one of our fondest
memories of her is seeing her walk
her little dog ‘sammie’ around the
neighborhood. Dick we know this is
a difficult time for you and your family.
