Arden – Judy Ann Souther, 70, of Arden, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at Universal Healthcare Center.
A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Horace and Evelyn Wright Bridges.
She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church and retired from CTS Manufacturing.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Sidney O. Souther; one step-daughter, Michelle McCoy of Black Mountain; two step-grandchildren, Dakota and Amy McCoy as well as several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2009 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
Interment will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the funeral home.
