Marie Stowe Davis

Marie Clara Stowe Davis, 59, of 644 Long Shoals Road, Arden, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Mrs. Davis was born in Abbotsford, WI, and was a daughter of the late Harold Raymond Stowe. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Edith Pace. She formerly worked at Beacon Mfg. Co., Skyland Curb Market, and NAPA. She was a former member of the Open Bible Church and at the time of her death she was a member of Candler Independent Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Dean Davis; her mother, Lethia Reid Stowe; four daughters, Sharon, Deana, Jevia, and Stephanie; three sons, Michael, Ronnie and Brad; one sister, Mildred Ray; a brother, Raymond Stowe, and several grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Austin Watts officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family to help with the expenses.
