Mary Elizabeth Henson

Mary Elizabeth Henson, 83, of Fairfax Ave., Asheville, died on Friday, September 18, 2009, at her home. Ms. Henson was a native of Canton, and was a daughter of the late Merritt M. and Sally Revis Heatherly. She is survived by her daughter, Jewel H. Allison; son, Kenneth G. Henson; sisters, Susie Heatherly, and Pauline Wilson; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service for Ms. Henson will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Junior Hensley officiating. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting with the arrangements.
