Joseph John Palko

Joseph John Palko, 85, of Hadley Park Way in Arden, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and was the son of the late John and Zuzanna Zacko Palko. He was a US Army Air Force Veteran serving during WW II and worked for International Telephone and Telegraph for 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patsy Ann Free Palko; a son and daughter in law, John Palko and Lauri of Arden; two grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Palko. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the church.
