Edwina Shelton Pascuzzo, 83, of 48 Hopedale Circle, Asheville, died Friday, February 6, 2009, at her home.
A native of Haywood County, Mrs. Pascuzzo was a daughter of the late Harrison and Bertha Moore Wright. She was married to the late James Pascuzzo. She worked at American Enka for 15 years before moving to Rochester, NY, where she worked at the NY State Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth S. Taylor and her husband, Clarence, of Leicester; three sons, Rex Shelton and his wife, Ronnie, of Salisbury, Clyde Shelton of Marion, and James Edward Grant and his wife, Jennifer, of Lincoln, NE; one sister, Geraldine Ukshe of NY State; twelve grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Preacher Clarence Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
