MARY V. JOYCE
Mary V. Joyce, 91, of Dix Creek #2, Leicester, daughter of the late Turner and Carrie Hutchison Joyce, died Sunday, January 4, 2009.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting with the arrangements.

Dear family: I grew up across the creek from the old Joyce home place. I used to chop wood for the family and help in other ways. It was a lot of fun for a young boy to sit around the fire place and talk with Mr, & Mrs. Joyce and Mary. Although I had not seen Mary in years I thought about them. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
