Dear Mrs. Chubb and family,
Dr. Chubb also brought my twin brother and I into the world on January 23, 1957. The story in my family is that he was so pleased because earlier the spring before he had delivered twin girls. That September he delivered twin boys, and then the following January, we arrived and he had one of each. I believe a cousin of mine, Alberta Bubb worked with him and my mother babysat for her which is how she met my dad and therefore how I got to be!
I am currently a pastor in a small United Methodist Church in the northern part of PA after many years of travel. It was just grace that I happened to be back in Mifflin County when Dr. Chubbs obituary was in the Sentinel there.
There are no magic words of comfort, but I know that God cares for you and will see you through this time. I will remember you and the family in my prayers.
Pastor Laura King
