Zeb V. Farmer, 94, formerly of Westgate Road, Asheville, died Thursday, August 7, 2008, in Palmyra, TN.
Mr. Farmer was a native of Jackson County and was a son of the late James Bedford and Nora Hipps Farmer. He was preceded in death by his wives, Virginia Ann Farmer, Jean C. Farmer, and Ruth Lance Farmer.
He was a Navy veteran of WW II and he was retired from American Enka.
He is survived by his son, William Farmer of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren, Malissa McEntire of Asheville and Richard Farmer of Atlanta; a half-sister, Ruth Ashe, and three half-brothers, Burt Farmer, Joe Farmer, and Pat Farmer.
Graveside services will be at 2:00p.m. Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Farmer officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Farmer, Steve McEntire, Tori Murdoch, and Joseph Alford.

I remember Zeb as I was a child and the several times my family got together and he was there he always got down on my child level to talk to me and make me laugh. That’s my best memory of Zeb. Hopefully knowing that he is now with the Lord will help ease some of the greif you have now.
