Virginia Wishart Boyer, 94, of Asheville, died Thursday, February 21, 2008, at Memorial Campus, Mission Hospitals.
Mrs. Boyer was born in Akron, OH, and was married to the late Rev. Gerald N. Boyer, who died in 2006. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Carole B. Hawkinson of Asheville; one son, Jerry Boyer of Rockford, IL; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I am a member of Cornerstone Church and Phyllis Maney and myself visited Virginia on a number of occasions. She was a delightful person who loved her Lord and Savior. Her eyes would twinkle and she would sing for us and sometimes play the piano. She was a very talented lady and the glory of the Lord shined from her face. We loved her and she was a blessing to us.
