Fletcher ~ Betty Sue Reagan Youngblood, 79, died on Monday, November 05, 2007 at her residence. She was born in Buncombe County and was the daughter of the late John H Reagan and Nell Shuford Reagan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee “Bub” Youngblood and a son, Ronnie Youngblood who died on October 19, 2007. She attended Biltmore Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Betsy Frady and husband Ronnie and Joy McMinn and husband Billy of Fletcher; one son, Reagan D. Youngblood of Arden; eleven grandchildren and six-een great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 5:00 P.M. Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the Rev. Dr. Ian Walker officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Area Hospice, P.O. Box 25338 Asheville, NC 28813 or to Biltmore Baptist Church, 35 Clayton Road, Arden, NC 28704.

  1. We are so sorry. Betty Sue was such a gracious lady. She, Bub, and Ronnie were special friends. Thank God for making a way to see them again. We are praying that the Holy Spirit will comfort all the family.

  3. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Betty. She used to work for my husband, Bill and I at our restaurant in Arden. She certainly was a kind and sweet lady. I know that Bub and Ronnie have welcomed her into heaven to be with the master.
    She will be missed!
