Kathleen Blankenship Hyatt, 86, of 18 Wilburn Road, Asheville, died Friday, August 24, 2007, at Aston Park Health Care Center.
Mrs. Hyatt was born in Weaverville and was a daughter of the late Clyde and Margaret Kennedy Blankenship. She was preceded in death by two brothers, A.D. Blankenship and William Blankenship.
Mrs. Hyatt was associated with her husband and son in the family business, Hyatt Electric Company, for more than 50 years. She was a member of West Asheville Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, D. Frank Hyatt; one daughter, Marsha Aiello and her husband, Greg, of Princeton, NJ; one son, Randy Hyatt and his wife, Marie, of Arden; two grandchildren, Chris Hyatt of Arden and Christine Pederson of Princeton, NJ; ad two brothers, Frank Blankenship and his wife, Lee, of Weaverville and Eugene Blankenship and his wife, Ann, of Swannanoa.
At her request, no services are planned. Private interment will be at Pisgah View Memorial Park.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting Mrs. Hyatt’s family.
