Annie McCanless Butler, 95, of Pensacola, FL, passed away
Monday, May 26, 2003.
Mrs. Butler was born in Asheville and was the late Rev. James H. Butler, Sr. She attended Meredith College and was a former member of the First Baptist Church in
Asheville where she taught sunday
school.
Surviving are her three daughters, Mina Ruth West, Mary Anne Glazner (Lytton) and Martha Jean Raley; two sons, James Henry Butler, Jr. (Jennifer) and Robert McCanless Butler (Janice); thirteen
grandchildren and fifteen
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Thursday at Green Hills
Cemetery, Asheville.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is in charge of the
arrangements.
