Dorothy Bailey

Dorothy Banks Bailey, 83, of 200 Tunnel Road, Asheville, died Saturday, January 13, 2007, at Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Mrs. Bailey was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Charles and Martha McMahan Banks. She was married to the late Jake Bailey. Surviving are one daughter, Martha J. Kelley of Greenville, SC; two sons, Jacob Eugene Bailey, Jr. of Asheville and John Larry Bailey of Atlanta, GA; and a nephew, Buddy Diamond of Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald N. Welborn officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
