Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Jack & Laura Duncan were our next door neighbors for many decades in the Haw Creek Community of Asheville. They were true friends to our parents, and our childhood memories are strewn with priceless recollections of their grandchildren, Donna & Mike. Mrs. Duncan never once yelled at us Dockery kids for playing in her yard and woods, though we must have tested her nerves at times. We grew up taking our turn at mowing her lawn, raking her leaves and cleaning out her gutters, and she treated us like gold even when we did a less than satisfactory job! We always loved the Duncans, and we send our deepest sympathy and warmest affection to Della, Ferrell, Donna, Mike, and the rest of the family. Linda, Bobby, Kim, Scotty, and Doug
