Elizabeth "Betsey" Fairing

Fletcher ~ Elizabeth Anne “Betsey” Booher Fairing, 82, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at a local hospital after fighting a long battle with Lou Gherig’s disease. She was the daughter of the late Clarke Willard Booher and Florida Weise and adopted daughter of the late Loucille Booher. Betsey was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty five years, John Davis Fairing, who died in 2002. She is survived by a daughter, Laurel Ann McGill and her husband Kevin of Fletcher; a son, Robert Clarke Fairing and his wife Beverly of Port Townsend, WA; eight grandchildren, Virginia and Chris McGill, Kateen Fenter, Ann Yoder, Wayne Baily, John Fairing, Wendy and Rob Fitzgerald and many great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made in Betsey’s honor to any Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
