Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I did not know Shirley personally, but I was a frequent shopper at the Food Lion in Clyde. I always could feel the care and concern that she showed her employees when she was on duty. I stopped by yesterday and saw the sign on the door about her death. There was a cloud of sadness over the store. She will be missed. Your family will be in my prayers.

  2. TO THE FAMILY OF SHIRLEY INGE:
OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU. SHIRLEY WAS A WONDERFUL WOMAN AND ALLTHOUGH I ONLY KNEW HER FROM FOOD LYON SHE WAS SO SWEET AND KIND TO MY SON WHOM SHE HIRED. CORY WILL TRULY MISS HER.

  3. It is with great sadness that we hear of Shirley’s sudden passing. We hope that Kelly and the rest of her family will have strength and remembrance during this time, of the fun loving and happy Shirley we all got to know and love.

  4. Grandma, thanks for our ‘special times’ on the porch steps together talking and laughing before everyone else woke up, taking forever to brush out that huge knot in my hair, for all the times I called you without my parents knowing, for letting me know I was most definitely loved, for being there for me as long as I can remember, and for loving and taking such good care of my grandpa. I wish you could have seen me graduate, marry, and have children so they could know what a special grandma you were. I will love and miss you forever!

  5. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you all are in our thoughts & prayers.

    With sincere sympathy & love,

    Beth & Pop

  6. We love you and will miss you but know you’re now free of pain and reunited with Daddy. Thank you for loving us and making us feel special. We’ll never forget you!

  7. We’re so sorry–wish we could be there. Our thoughts and prayers are with you–we love you!

  8. Bemaw Inge, We miss and love you so much. Our hearts hurt so bad, but we know that now you are with Bepa. We will always love you and Bepa forever! From your two grandchildren in Virginia.

  9. Kelly & Family, I’m sorry for your loss and I want you to know I feel lucky to have known your mom for as long as I did. If there is anything I can do for your family please let me know. You and your family will be in our prayers.

  10. Thanks for staying up all night when I was sick, even though I barely knew you then…for the swimming lessons in that apartment complex pool long ago… for being my only confidant when I got my first speeding ticket(Dad just wouldn’t have been as understanding!)… for accepting my mom as the ‘wife-in-law’… for helping with my wife’s wedding dress on her special day… for being the doting Bemaw and spoiling your grandkids rotten every time we got to visit… for taking such good care of Dad in his last few years… for being his best friend and love of his life for so many years… and now together again. We love you and will miss you terribly…

  11. Kelly and Sarah:
We are so sorry for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful woman and manager. Charlie always loved when she would talk to him.If you need anything. If even if it’s a shoulder to cry on. We are here. God bless your family.

  12. May you be comforted by the One that knows your pain…He grants His peace and grace in times like these, when we ask for it.
