I am so sorry to hear about the death in your family. It is always so tragic to hear about anyone departing from their friends and family members through death. It seems as though we as humans are powerless to stop death itself, despite scientific advancements and the rise of technology. So man is not the cure to aging and sickness, only God can elevate death and sickness forever. Isaiah 25:8 reads, ‘He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces…’?
So I hope you can find comfort in this hope that will be sure to come in the future for all mankind.
We were so sorry to hear, this morning, of Birt’s passing. The Goldsmiths were wonderful neighbors (for almost 40 yrs.) and Birt will be missed. Birt and my father had been friends over 50 yrs. when my father passed away in 2003. We can all rejoice that these two sweet and gentle souls are in heaven and are no longer suffering, two good friends together at last.
Our prayers and love go out to you and your family during this time of grief and sorrow.
Birt and Mildred were always wonderful neighbors and a joy to be around. We will always be here for you if and when you need us.
Dearest Mrs. Goldsmith, I am so very sorry about your loss. It has been such an honor and true pleasure being your neighbor for over 30 years. I’m glad Daddy (Don Best) has been reunited in Heaven with his dear friend – Mr. Goldsmith! Thank you for your friendship! Our prayers are with you. Love, Becky, Melissa and Brandon Orr
