Kenneth Eugene Hill

Fletcher ~ Kenneth Eugene Hill, 62, of 332 Lower Brush Creek Road, died on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, Mr. Hill was the son of the late Cecil William Hill, Sr. and Nannie Catherine Wright Hill. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Richard, Max, Harvey and Edward Hill. He is survived by his sister, Rachel Buckner of Weaverville; six brothers, Cecil and Chester Hill of Asheville, J.C. Hill of South Hill, VA, Dewey Hill of Eutawville, SC, Robert Hill of Fletcher and Arnold Hill of Mars Hill; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Major Waddell and Rev. John J. Huntley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road is in charge of arrangements.
