Dear Mrs. Borregard and Family –
There was no address in the phone book to send you a card, so I am using the internet to let you know how saddened I was to read of the loss to our community of Leo. As Planning Director for the City of Asheville for many years, I had numerous occasions to work with him and learned from his passion for making this city and the world a better place. He was truly an inspiration during his years here to those of us who love good planning and who love Asheville. He understood community and always gave so generously of himself to foster that here in the mountains. He is a wonderful presence that will be missed…..
