Pamela "Pam" Ledford Trull

Mrs. Pamela “Pam” Ledford Trull, 67, of Candler passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2026 at Mission Hospital.

Born in Haywood County to the late George and Peggy Ledford in 1958. She is also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Rev. Olson Ledford (Dolly), maternal grandparents, Elijah Free (Willie), her father-in-Law, Paul Trull, several good friends, and beloved dachshund, Norton.

Pam loved spending time with her family more than anything, especially days at the swimming pool and holiday gatherings. She poured her heart and soul and a lot of sugar and butter into many great meals and always spent a lot of time choosing the perfect gifts.

Pam had become an avid front porch gardener and enjoyed nature watching. Pam spent several years as a compassionate teacher’s assistant at Venable Elementary School and dedicated herself to helping others find employment, working for Manpower before a serious medical event. Pam was strong, stubborn, opinionated and loved with all she had.

Pam is survived by her loving and devoted husband, who has been her care giver for over two decades and her husband for over four decades, Steven Trull; children, Ashley Jones (April) and Nathan Trull (Crystal); grandchildren, Josie, Isaiah (Bree), Brooklyn, Addisyn, Tristan (Leah), Kaid, Wyatt, L.J. and Ansley; great-grandchildren, McKinnley and Elizabeth; siblings, Karen Clark (Jeff) and Janine Bulter (David); mother-in-law, Lottie Trull; brother-in-law, Mike Trull (Kathy); and nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family will receive friends and family beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Snow Hill United Methodist Church, located at 84 Snowhill Church Rd, Candler NC 28715. The celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m., with the Reverend Tom Hunter officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to make a donation in Pam’s name to The Eblen Charities or The North Carolina Arboretum Society.

The family would like to Thank Buncombe County Emergency Medical Services and the staff at Mission Hospital Emergency Room for the care shown to the family.
