Karen Anita Hall, 55, of Hartford, Tennessee, passed unexpectedly on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Karen was born in Buncombe County to Larry Collins and Clara Collins in 1971. She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Don Hall.
Karen was a beautiful, kind, and giving woman. She loved with her whole heart, was quick to forgive, and always full of laughter. Karen was a life-long member of Lake Hills Church in Candler. She and her husband, Scotty, loved football, traveling, caring for their chickens, and their family. Karen loved to cook and treasured spending time with family at their cookouts. After graduation from ABTech, Karen worked at Mission Hospital as a medical transcriber and later, as an intake technician at Newport Hospital, in Tennessee. She had a vast medical knowledge and a strong work ethic.
Karen is survived by her husband, Scotty Hall; mother, Clara D. Collins; father, Larry Collins; stepmother, Lynn Collins; mother-in-law, Geraldine Hall; sister-in-law, Kim Hall; and beloved pets, Brittany and Daisy.
A visitation will be held at Lake Hills Church on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. and a private burial afterwards. Pastor Lee O’Briant will be officiating the service.

Oh Clara, I am so sorry for your loss. Your beautiful Karen is in the arms of our precious Lord Jesus now and completely and totally healed. She\’s praising Him for giving her the most wonderful mother ever. Praying the precious memories give you and Scott and the family comfort and peace. I love you.

Karen was such a sweet friend. We kept in touch through Facebook, and I had been praying for her during her recent surgery. My heart is saddened by her passing. We are now praying for you, Clara, and the entire family. May God surround you with His comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.
