Lois "Pam" Fite

Lois “Pam” Fite, 71, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, July 27, 2026, following a brief illness.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Eugene “Gene” Fite; four children, MaryAnn Parham (Greg), Toney, Curtis and Haley (Luke) Fite; two grandsons, Conner Parham and Luke Arnette; one brother, Rick Burleson; three sisters, Kathy McEntire, Judy Pressley and Debra Rice and her beloved cats, Knox, Boots and Salem.

Pam was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord and she loved her family. She will be missed dearly by her husband and children, but they take comfort in knowing that she was welcomed into the arms of Jesus. Pam and Gene were best friends who would have celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 5, 2026.

Pam loved nature and all animals. She loved getting together with her family, making memories and taking pictures. She looked forward to going to the Rod Run in Pigeon Forge every year and loved going camping.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Garney and Prutina Burleson; three sisters, Geraldine Smith, Hazel Moore and Gail Moore, as well as two brothers, Jay and Tracy Burleson.

The family would like to give a special thanks to CarePartners Hospice for the excellent care provided.

At her request, services will be private.
