Born on May 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Everett and Nancy Phillips. David was the devoted husband of Kay Phillips and retired from Duke Energy after many years of dedicated service.
David was a faithful follower of the Seventh-day Adventist faith for more than 20 years and a member of the Erwin Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church. One of thirteen children, he treasured his family, his faith, and the many friendships he made throughout his life.
A memorial service celebrating David’s life will be held at Erwin Hills Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sunday, September 20th at 2PM. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor his memory.
