Diana Louise Robertson Corbin was born on February 19, 1950 and died on July 10, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert V. and Geneva Buchanan Robertson, beloved maternal and paternal grandparents, 26 aunts and uncles and 11 cousins.
Survivors include a brother, Doug Robertson and wife Kate; a sister, Sandra Robertson Spear and husband Don; three special nephews, William Spear, Samuel Spear and Benjamin Spear; special first cousins, Marilyn Biship, Donald and Yvonne Buchanan, Janice Buchanan, Iris and David Ferguson, Susan and Tom Good, Janet and Rick Green, Larry and Brenda Hall, Steve and Holly Hall, Patsy Harrison, Gerald and Sandy Presnell, Terrell Randolph, Gary Robertson, Frank and Brenda Robinson, Sharon Scott, Christine and Joey Stevens, Gwen and Ray Stetzler, Gail Thomas, Joe and Tricia Trotta.
Diana graduated from Lee. H. Edwards High School in 1968 and St. Genevieve-of-the Pines School for Secretaries in 1969. She worked for the US Government (US Forest Service, Veterans Administration, US Marshals Service) from 1969 until retirement in 2005.
She joined the congregation of Acton United Methodist Church in 2001 and immediately became involved. Through the years, she held numerous offices and served on many committees. She organized a Needlework Ministry that made prayer shawls and special gifts for the Acton Church community. Diana thought nothing of giving her time and her talents to this church that she loved so much.
She was an avid knitter. Throughout her life, she loved her family and her friends and cherished the times she had with them. She will be remembered for her positive outlook on life, her selfless giving nature, her willingness to help, and her strong and constant faith.
Visitation will be held at Acton United Methodist Church on July 18, 2026 at 11:00 am with Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 pm and luncheon to follow. Flowers are appreciated.
