Born in:

Resided in:
Lexington, Kentucky
Virginia Grace Eichell, 102, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Ossining, New York, to the late Harold Nathaniel Lynt and Grace Coles Lynt.
Virginia was deeply devoted to her family. After the passing of her mother when Virginia was only 12 years old, she faithfully helped her father raise her three siblings, demonstrating the caring and selfless spirit that would define her entire life.
In 1945, she married Arthur Leonard Eichell and in 1947 welcomed their son, Harold Arthur “Tink” Eichell, while living in Ozone Park, New York.
Virginia and Arthur lived for seven years on Long Island, New York, before moving to Croton Falls, also in New York. Upon retirement, they settled in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where Virginia became close with Mickey and Chris Coleman and lovingly helped raise their two children, who became like grandchildren to her. After the passing of her husband, Virginia moved to Georgetown, Kentucky, to be closer to her son, Tink and his wife Nanette.
While living in Hendersonville, Virginia and Art were members of Calvary Episcopal Church, where Art and Virginia’s two sisters are buried. In Georgetown, Virginia was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church before entering assisted living at Cedarhurst of Beaumont and later at Sayre Christian Village, in Lexington.
Her family finds peace in knowing that Virginia is reunited with her husband, dancing together once again in Heaven to the music of Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Harold “Tink” Eichell, his wife Nanette (Dice); and her beloved almost grandchildren, Chandler Coleman and Dashiell Coleman.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Leonard Eichell, her brother Harold Nathaniel “Pete” Lynt and her sisters, Ethel Lynt and Muriel Lynt.
