Carl Robert Logan, 87, of Asheville NC passed away on May 7 2026. He was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Cornelius Clay Logan and Rhona Shank Logan.

Carl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Irene Murphy Logan; his children, Lisbeth Fay Logan and Brian Clay Logan (Yna Nubla Logan); and grandsons, Matthew Robert Logan and Dylan Michael Logan.

He was a fun loving and kind man who loved his family and pets. He lived a fulfilling yet laid-back life. The sound of his laughter will be missed.
