William “Bill” Bruce Griffin, age 94, of Asheville, NC, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in Roswell, Georgia. He was born on February 1, 1932, in Alexander, NC, to the late Flossie Mae Griffin and William McKinley Griffin.

Bill lived a long and meaningful life grounded in love, loyalty, and quiet strength. A man of few words, he had an enduring passion for reading, a love for the game of golf, gardening, photography, bowling and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. In his younger years, he enjoyed traveling and exploring new places. These were the experiences that brought him joy and enriched his life.

After retirement, he and his beloved wife, Margaret, started traveling abroad, creating memories together that they cherished for years.

Guestbook

  1. Bill and I worked together at CFCC during the 80’s up until the time that he took early retirement. He was a dear friend and a wonderful person to work alongside. We spent sometime together after he retired which was always a joy. I was truly sorry to hear of his passing. The Lord brings some people into our lives that are a true blessing Bill was one of those for me. My condolences to Margaret and the family.
