Fletcher- Terry Annette Thomas, 71, of Fletcher, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

A native of Buncombe County, Terry was born August 13, 1954 to the late Coy and Dorothy Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Thomas and a sister, Pansy Aden.
Terry is survived by her sister, Carren Robinson of Beaufort, SC as well as a brother, Gerald Hensley of Muldrow, OK.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at The Heights City Church, 15 Airport Road, Arden, NC 28704.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.

Terry was always a kind a sweet little girl. She always loved coming to the farm an picking black berries. She will be missed.

Terry was a good friend as well as a cousin. We spent time doing simple things. Having a ice cream cone in the park, going for a walk just sharing time together. She loved all of her little dogs very much. They kept her company. I will miss her very much.
