  3. Larry and I were so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Always the same sweet person every time you saw her. Please know our love and prayers are with each of you.

  4. Margie was an inspiration to us bringing her sweet smile and a word of encouragement to the chapel service each Thursday at River Bend. We thank God we got to know her. We will miss her but look forward to seeing her again. Our prayers are with the family.

    • So sorry to learn of Margie’s passing! She was a wonderful lady and I envied her white hair which was so beautiful! She always had a smile and bright eyes welcoming you whenever you saw her. Enjoyed our association at FUNB many years ago! Prayers for her family at this time!

  5. Marj will be missed on this earth but she is with our Lord and has no more pain .
She was a blessing to me when I worked with her at First Union many years ago. Prayers for the Peace of Christ to fall on her family.

  6. She will always be remembered for her beautiful, welcoming smile and kind heart. It makes me smile to think that she and Clarence are back together. We had some good times and she is missed already.

  7. Marj was a true friend and mentor who was instrumental in helping so many of us succeed in the banking industry! She always had a smile, and her laughter would lift your spirits anytime you were in her presence. I know she is in the arms of our Lord and Savior with her beloved Clarence. She left this world a better place, and will be dearly missed!

  8. So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. Those we love leave this world a mark soaked into memories, objects & other people. We never really lose their presence that way. Thinking of you during this new season of your life. I know you will miss her

  9. So sorry to hear this news. Marjorie will be missed in this community. She was a happy person and
    so nice to be around.

  10. My father Mack’s favorite sibling was Aunt Margie. Being only 2 years apart in age, they were close growing up. They each loved telling me the following story once in a while: They had a favorite apple tree they loved climbing together, and whenever my dad was about to get a whipping, Margie would climb it alone and cry until it was over, then run to comfort him! She was a sweetheart, plain and simple. What a great run you had in this life, Aunt Margie…now rest in peace.

  11. I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. She was always such a sweet lady. I know you will miss her greatly. Looking forward to seeing her again one day. Phyllis

  12. I am so sorry for your loss. Margie was always so kind to me and made me feel welcome when we worked at the Leicester Community Center Welcome Table. She will be missed.

  13. Margie was one of the most congenial persons I’ve had the privilege of knowing, always with the same warm, friendly, glad to see you open arms welcome. And like her brother J.R. and sister Olene she had that Baker infectious sense of humor and laugh! There is another glow in Heaven!

  14. Yolanda and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences. While I did not know your Mother/Grandmother I can only imagine that she was a light and strength in your family. This is apparent by the kind words of the many people she touched and through each of you the people you touch.
