Patsy Jones Perry, 80, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away on March 2, 2026, in the city she loved and called home her entire life.

Born in Asheville to Gordon and Myrtle Jones, Patsy was a proud native of the mountains of Western North Carolina. She dedicated 44 years of service to American Enka/BASF, retiring after a long and faithful career marked by hard work and commitment.

Patsy loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Asheville Family Church. She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman, clothed with strength and dignity, faithful to her family, generous to others, and devoted to her faith. Her life reflected grace, wisdom, and quiet strength.

She found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured shopping trips with her girlfriends, adventures to Cades Cove, and fishing trips with her beloved husband, Jim. Patsy was an amazing cook who delighted in preparing meals for those she loved. She also enjoyed coloring and the simple pleasures that brought peace and happiness to her days.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jim Perry, who passed away just two weeks earlier; her parents, Gordon and Myrtle Jones; and her siblings, Leonard Jones, Jerry Jones, Sandra Putnam, and Jeanette Warren.

She is survived by her son, Robert Perry (Libby); grandchildren Kyle Perry (Madeline), Kayce Leon (Marco), Camille Robinson, and Brooklyn Robinson; great-grandchildren Brock Vance, Grayson Cornu, Elaine Perry, and Laikyn and Lyndon Leon; and a special niece, Renae Warren.

The family will receive friends at Asheville Family Church located at 530 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806, on Friday, March 6, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at 3:45 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Green Hills Cemetery, 25 New Leicester Highway, Asheville, NC 28806.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Asheville Family Church.

Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, devotion, and love; her legacy will continue through the generations she cherished so deeply.
