Helen Gertrude Edwards Lytle, 82, of Fairview, NC passed away on January 30, 2026. She was born to Ransom Edwards and Estoy Silvers Edwards, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wayne I. Lytle.
She is survived by her three children, Harvey Lytle (Wanda), Herman Lytle (Susan), and Rhonda Pruitt (Jeff); brothers, Chuck Edwards and Raymond Edwards; her grandchildren, Kristie Moore (Josh), Scott Lytle (Andrea), Chad Harvey (Trisha), David Lytle, Kori Elliott, Kris Greene, Kasey Greene, Kody Shlenk, Serenity Mack, Jeffrey Pruitt (Christa) and Ray Pruitt; and four great-grandchildren, Tait Harvey, Stetson, Jagger, and Payslyn. She is also survived by her little dog that she loved dearly, Tanner.
She was loved by all her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday, February 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the Place Fellowship Church in Fairview, NC (located beside Food Lion). Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the WNC Bridge Foundation, formerly the CarePartners Foundation.
