Guestbook

  1. Gerry, My heart is broken for your loss. You have been like a brother to me for almost 50 years.
May God wrap his healing arms around you at this time and give comfort as only He can. Joy and I
    love you so much.

  2. To my dear AC Reynolds friend, Gerry Huntley and family. Gerry you were always the best friend to me and my heart is broken for you.

Please know, Gerry, that I will be praying for
you and your family and in the very difficult days ahead.

I always cherished your friendship, Gerry. I am so sorry.

    With much love and sympathy,
    Dianne Burleson Phillips

    • Dear Dianne: Thank you for your kind words of inspiration. In a month or two may I see you and your husband somewhere around Asheville and talk about life, loss, love and facing tomorrow? It would be so good to see you. You have had much heartache, too. So, we can relate. You were always so kind to me in those formative Reynolds years. I hope we can meet. I am devastated. Judy and I were married thirty-two years. Take care. Gerry Huntley. gerryh1947@yahoo.com

  3. Gerry, to you and all the family I’m so sorry for you to hear this about Judy. It is a beautiful picture of her. No one told me that grief is tiring when my Tonda died, but it is, so take care of yourself and you’re in my thoughts and prayers for peace.

    • Beth: Thank you for the kind words. Let me know when you are in Fairview the next time. You have experienced grief in many ways. I think of Tonda and Chas often. I would like to draw from you. It would be nice to see you. With kind regards, Gerry

  4. My Darling Judy: One week ago this evening that you were called home to Heaven. The next day would have been our thirty-third wedding anniversary and tomorrow would have been your seventy-ninth birthday. We should be getting ready to go to the Bistro in Black Mountain or Olive Garden in Asheville to celebrate these special events. But that will not happen. You are at peace and I am left without the love of my life. I miss my “Sunshine” and “My Little Girl.” So petite and so pretty. I miss you calling me “Hud” and “Baby” so much. I will never forget those loving words. We were a part of each other’s lives longer than were our parents, counting our years at Rosa Edwards Elementary School in Hendersonville starting in 1957. No one else comes close in the depth of love I feel for you. I love you Darling. I will see you when my work down here is done. Forever, Gerry

  5. Jerry…
So glad you called me tonight to let me know of Judy’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss.
If there is anything I can do for you please let me know.
    Sincerely,
    Debbie Huntley Owen
