In Loving Memory of Kimberley Lynn Nesbitt Giacobbe
July 2, 1965 – October 16, 2025
Kimberley Lynn Nesbitt Giacobbe, age 60, of Fairview, North Carolina, passed away on October 16, 2025, alongside her devoted husband, Paul John Giacobbe, in a sudden and tragic event that was unexpected and heartbreaking, leaving their family and friends in deep sorrow.
Born on July 2, 1965, in Washington, DC, Kimberley was the cherished daughter of the late Mr. William “Bill” Clark Nesbitt (01/17/2009) and Mrs. Glenda Annette Newman Nesbitt. She was the proud and loving mother of Ryan Kent Sayles and the late Caleb Bryson Giacobbe (07/14/2025). She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Estrella H. Giacobbe and adored granddaughter, Carter Jade Giacobbe, who devotedly called her “Lovey.”
She is also survived by her sister, Christine Nesbitt Lopez; her niece, Ashelee Brooke Holland, and husband, Jessie Ray Holland; and their sons, Logan Reese Holland and Spencer Cole Holland — who affectionately called her “Aunt Kiki.” To her family and countless friends, Kimberley was the heartbeat of every gathering, a radiant presence whose warmth, laughter, and love made every moment brighter.
Those blessed to share life’s journey with Kimberley knew her as a queen in every sense — graceful, stylish, and full of joy. A true beauty with a generous heart, she had a knack for making everyone around her feel special. Her love for travel took her all over the world, and she fulfilled a lifelong dream in April 2023 when she stood beneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Kimberley found peace and inspiration in nature, especially in her favorite plants — hydrangeas, orchids, and magnolias — each one reflecting her beauty and strength in its own way. She also adored English Bulldogs for their loyal charm and flamingos for their elegance and color, which suited her perfectly.
She was known for her love of celebration — holiday gatherings, birthday parties, and dinners at her home were legendary, filled with laughter, good food, and Kimberley’s signature touch of style. Her home was always open, her table always set, and her heart always full.
To know Kimberley was to be loved by her. She was a best friend, an inspiration, and a true joy to travel through life with. Her laughter was contagious, her kindness effortless, and her love for family and friend’s everlasting.
Kimberley’s dedication extended beyond her family and friends to her professional life. A committed worker to her employer and a valued contributor to her own beauty business, she approached every task with care, excellence, and her characteristic warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.
Though Kimberley’s earthly journey has ended, the beauty of her spirit will continue to bloom in the gardens she adored, the memories she created, and the lives she so deeply touched. She will be missed beyond measure but remembered with endless love and gratitude.
A beloved child of Christ, Kimberley walked in faith and grace. Her light now reunites with loved ones who went before her, and she rejoices in the everlasting peace of His eternal embrace.

So so sorry for your loss. She was a shining light in this world and a wonderful person and friend .
My fondness memory of Kim is the time I went to Pigeon Forge with her and Christine years ago. We had so much fun. We were at the Island when Kim saw a huge parrot and its trainer in front of the show area. She was so excited. The trainer said that the parrot didn’t like people but that parrot went straight to her and the trainer allowed her to hold him. Well… the parrot did like Kim but he liked her fake eyelashes even more because he took them. We laughed so hard we had tears. Kim looked at me and said; “he thinks they’re a bug!” The world lost a very kind soul. It’s beyond sad. Only the Heavenly Father can soothe the sadness. May her friends and family have comfort in the many wonderful memories of her going forward.
So sorry for the loss you are enduring! Prayers for each of the family members especially for Glenda.
Glenda and Gamily,
My heart felt sadness for your loss. Praying for you all.
I am so sorry for your loss. Kim was my lash tech for 3 years and my coworker for 1. She had such a glamorous, kind and contagious energy. This obituary was beautiful and honored her so well! I wanted to share my favorite memory with her that still makes me laugh to this day. I was at my lash appointment, she was still working from home at the time and didn’t have a table yet, she had a big comfy recliner. So there I am in the recliner, fully reclined, with a blanket over me (because she always made sure you were comfy cozy). I could hear Molly snoring on the sofa and everything was peaceful, when she received a phone call and stepped out of the room to take it. After she left, for whatever reason, I attempted to scoot back a little bit in the chair (big mistake), this caused the entire thing to flip backwards and send me upside down, on my head, feet in the air, blanket covering me, eyes taped shut (because lashes) and her tray tipped over with tools and lash clusters all over the place. She runs back in from hearing the calamity and frantically tells whoever she was talking to that she would call them back as she rushed over to help me. She was so flustered and worried but when she pulled the blanket off my head she could see I was just laying there cracking up. She proceeded to get the situation under control but neither of us could stop laughing the entire appointment. I’m still laughing about it. She purchased a table the very next day.
I just adored Kim in the short time that I knew her, she had a way of making a lasting impression, and I know she will be dearly missed by so many. I find comfort in knowing she is resting with our Savior and watching over her loved ones. I have been keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to do so.
Words will never be adequate. Please know that I and many are sending love to and prayers for all of you.
By soulmate, my beautiful mother, words cannot express my tears they are heavy and as they fall I cry out to our LORD who gave all! Soon I will be in your presence again for we are God’s children and part of his plan..you were the best mother a man could have, my trials and errors, ignorance could not compete with your faithfulness prayer and support I will serve GOD first, second I will honor you in all I do! Psalms 119:49-56
My thoughts and prayers are with you all! Sending lots of love, and prayers!!!
I was so sad to hear about Kim & Paul. I worked with Kim at Allergy Partners for several years. She was always beautiful inside and out. I admired her style and class. We had fun at work, and she was always kind to me. We spent happy times at parties and eating out. The last time I saw her and Paul, we were at a friend’s wedding. We talked and laughed, and I am thankful that they were happy together. Prayers for comfort and peace to the families. We are lucky to have a beautiful soul watching over us all.
