Wanda Puckridge Bailey, 76, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

An Asheville native, Wanda was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Lemedeth “Bea” Gryder Puckridge. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Puckridge.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her brother, Larry Puckridge and sister-in-law, Patricia Melton Puckridge; and cousins, Kathy Brown Criswell (Ken) and Timothy Wilson (Amy).

Her family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, at Biltmore Church of God. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dale Whitson will officiate. Inurnment will then take place at Sky View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Biltmore Church of God, 1390 Sweeten Creek Rd., Asheville, NC 28803, or to Four Seasons Hospice, 211 N. Main St., Hendersonville, NC 28792.

  1. My best friend went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She touched so many with her faith and the way she lived a Godly Christain life. She will surely be missed.

  3. Saddened to know my dear friend for over 60 years has passed but I know she’s Home with Jesus & all those she dearly loved. My prayers to those she left and was so blessed to have her in our lives.
