  1. Linda and family I am so very sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. I will always remember her guiding us home from a basketball game in Chapel Hill sometimes through the night. Heaven gained an Angel and she is there with Lisa and the girls.

  2. Joyce will be missed. She got her angel wings to be with Lisa and girls. Prayers for Linda, David , family and friends..

  3. Linda, still my bestie from forever ago…such fond memories of your Mom, what a fine lady. I imagine there’s a wonderful reunion and celebration happening in Heaven about now! Prayers for you and everyone who loves Joyce.

  4. Joyce was a very bright ĺight in so many peoples lives. I had the honor of being her hairdresser until she made her move to Myrtle Beach. We shared so many stories and heartaches as we both had lived ones we lost way to soon. Joyce loved going to plays at Asheville Community Theater, she picked out the ones that were comedy or had singing or dancing in them. We would go for lunch afterwards where she enjoyed her vegetables. Joyce was a proud lady and lived her family fiercely. I will miss Joyce but I know she is having the time of her life with Lisa and the girls. Love You Joyce.. Phyllis Walker

  6. I worked in the same Dept. as Joyce at. BASF for many years. She was beautiful, sweet and kind. Just a joy to be around. We were close to the same age. I know you will miss her.

  7. Nathalie and family, I’m so sorry for your loss and pray for comfort and strength, now and for the days ahead. Sending much love and hugs.

  8. Linda, I am so sorry to learn about your Mom. I will be saying prayers for you and your family.

  9. Linda & Andy: So sorry about the loss of your Mom – just learned about it. I recall fondly our “growing up years” across the street from each other in W. Asheville. Great neighbors & friends! So hard to lose a Mom, I know, but comforting to know that the soul of a good & kind person has returned to Heaven.
