Ann was quite a talker and sometimes it was hard to get a word in edgewise. She loved to tell stories about her travels, her time with the telephone company, her work at the Biltmore Estate, and her work at Sears. Ann never married and she often credited her longevity to her staying single and not having children. Ann was very close to my mom and dad, and after both of them passed away my sister and I became her closest family. She has been a large part of our lives for many years and she leaves a big vacancy with her passing. Rest in peace Aunt Ann…
I’m so sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. We sure missed her once she moved into the Oaks. She loved to be pampered, She loved to talk, she would share so many stories and would call me many many nights just to talk about different things. She even called me over Alexa while at the oaks. She loved you and your sweet sister dearly. You ladies are in our thoughts and prayers. – Charlie From Asheville Home Health.
