Our loving mom Kathleen Parham Webb (Kathy) went to her heavenly home on January 10, 2024, at the age of 81 years old.
Kathy was born in Asheville, NC, to Richard and “Tildy” Parham on September 9, 1942. She attended Crossnore School in Avery County, NC. She had so many fond memories of her time at boarding school and loved to reminisce about those times.
Kathy’s greatest joy came from raising her children. She loved spending time with her sister and cousins and all of their kids. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord. Kathy loved to read and crochet. Many friends and family members have been blessed by her beautiful Afghans. She also enjoyed relaxing trips to the beach.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Anna Matilda Parham, her sister, Martha Drake, her first husband, Cecil Webb and her second husband, Archie Emory.
Kathy leaves behind her children, Brenda “Dell” Storm and her husband Ronnie, and Brian Anthony Webb and his wife, Laurie; her precious granddaughter, Anna Nicole “Nikki” Bartlett; her grandsons, Richard Harrison Webb and Christian Dryden Webb; a great-granddaughter, Adalynne Rayne Bartlett; and many special cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
To honor Kathy’s memory, we will be holding a celebration of life this summer in Asheville, NC.

I grew up across the old dirt road from Kathleen and her family. They were all always so good to me. Moved away in my teens but never forgot Richard and Tildy and Kathleen and Martha. Went back there a few months ago. It is not the same w/o all of us kids who grew up there. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.
Kathy was the best. I worked with her at K-Mart (tunnel rd ) she was so sweet and kind. She will be missed.
Brian and Dell,
We are so sorry to hear about Kathy. We have so many great memories of times spent with her and Cecil after ballgames. Heaven has truly gained an angel. Keeping you all in our prayers.
My grandmother brought so much light into everyone’s life she touched. I will remember so many beautiful memories of cooking, crocheting and dancing with her. We will miss her dearly.
