Guestbook

  1. Patricia, so sorry to hear of the loss of Marvin. Got to know him at the gym and enjoyed his perspectives on your travels. I know he fought a long battle but did it with such grace. Rest in peace my friend. Bob & Carol Blackwell

  2. Reverend Ralph H. Eanes, Jr. October 15, 2023——Marvin and I were friends since the first grade. We graduated Thomasville High school together, played in the high school band together, graduated from UNC in 1961, played in the UNC band and orchestra together. Friends all of lives together. Patricia, I shall miss him. Please let his children know we are so sorry for your loss. We had great times together as kids. Peace. Ralph

  3. Patricia, John, and Melanie – I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Uncle Marvin’s laugh, his passion for music, and his love of math. Though we were never as close as we should have been, he gave me excellent guidance over the years. I will miss him.

  4. I had George Eagle sr for math class in Greensboro NC
when he taught at Charles B. Aycock Jr. High Skool.
Great guy and was wonderful when he did bus duty keeping all
the rowdy students in line after school.

  6. Marvin and I were great friends in high school, always competing for valedictorian and salutatorian. I last saw him in 1963; but 7 years ago, we reconnected as e mail friends when he sent me news of our 60th class reunion. The man he became and the exemplary life he lived will light a candle for many. My condolences to Patricia and his son and daughter.

  7. Marvin was a good life-time friend. I will always remember our bicycle rides to Denton when we were teenagers and our times together in Scouts. He was the same friend now as he was then. You will be missed. Your friend, Sam Branson
