Guestbook

  1. I remember Httie Jo from the times she came into Home Sewing Center. Very sweet lady. My prayers to her family

  2. Hattie Jo was a wonderful friend to my mother, Mildred Yarbrough, especially after my dad died. She’d call her regularly to check on her. After my mother died, Hattie Jo called me many times to see if I was ok. She will always have a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It’s been a long time ago, but I played with you on that mountain when visiting my aunt and uncle, Ruth and Jim. Wonderful memories.

  3. So sorry Wanda,I know you will miss her so much, praying for you dear and your family, may she rest in Jesus’s arms.Love you honey.Your friends Linda and Brian Jones .

  4. Wanda and everyone: I’m so sorry for your loss. I know what it is like. I’d love to come to the memorial. We all have to keep up the family traditions now. Love and prayers for peace 🌹

  5. Hattie Jo worked for me for years at Sonopress. She was a spitfire and I appreciated that. She was a hard worker and was always good to me. May she rest in peace

  6. I just found out about Hattie Jo today, 10 days after she went to live with God.. I’ve known Hattie for over 50 yrs.. A very tough and strong willed woman and wonderful cook. In my younger yrs, me and her son Dickie hung out a lot, and we’d always end up on Phoenix Cove and it always seemed that we got there when supper was being served..I never forget the big table that everyone sat around to eat. She fixed good heart meals and when you got up from her table you were absolutely stuffed. What a cook she was.. Sending my absolute condolences to her family. They’re all good people.

  7. Our Sweet Aunt Hattie Jo as our daddy would say “there is four of us boys and we all have a sister.” She was always ready to go when we called her, she would say”let me change my blouse and I’ll be on down.”
She was always ready to help when we needed her, she was with us when Dad and Mom passed and willing to stay as long as needed. She made the best Million Dollar pies they would melt in your mouth! We could go on and on so we will just say She was the BEST buddy in the world miss you so much!!🌹💕
