So very sorry for the passing of your mom. She is with our Lord and Savior Jesus and her family. God comfort you all!
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my dear Aunt ‘Reeder’, as that is the name that I’ve called her since I could talk, as I couldn’t pronounce Meredith when I was 2 years old, and the name stuck over all these years. To my first cousins, Becki, Bruce and Mary Sue, my deepest sympathies on the loss of you mother, as this is certainly the end of an era in our lives. All of our parents generation of Hawkins’s are gone now with the passing of Meredith. She was gifted with a long, productive and happy life and I will always think of her and of our childhood in W Asheville. RIP my dearest Aunt Reeder, I’ve loved you all of my life. Your niece, Teresa Hawkins
Mary Sue, Becki, Bruce and family,

Becki, Mary Sue, Bruce and Family. I was saddened to hear of the passing of our West Asheville Mom. She took care of the whole gang. I remember the special care she gave me when the hornets ate me up while hiding playing kick-the-can. What wonderful and “faithful servants her and Larry were. May you days ahead be blessed with precious memories of one special Lady. Our prayer is that the Lord hold you tight as He walks with you through this difficult season of life.
Oh Bruce and family. I just now on Tues. learned that Meredeth died. I am broken hearted. For some reason, I am not getting the emails. A neighbor said someone died from my area and I started checking obits.I am so sorry. She was just a darling person. I would have been there for her service if I had known.
Dear Becki, Bruce, & Mary, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom s passing. She was such a classy lady, compassionate & loving,
Strong in her faith& looked forward to her heavenly home which she has reached
now. May God give you all strength to
grieve her loss; she will be missed by so
many.
She & Larry were our special mentors, teaching us how to live the Christian Life to the fullest. I will always be thankful God allowed Charles & me to cross paths
with your parents while we were in High
School.
They taught us so much about marriage,
Finances, raising our children & so much more. I loved your Mom s sense of humor; she kept us chuckling all the time, especially the year the four of us went to Myrtle Beach and you children were left with your grandmother.
I hope each of you & your families are well
And will be praying for you all. Love each of you so much❤️
